[tps_footer]Akshay Kumar sashayed down the ramp in designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock’s creation during the McDowell Signature Derby.
Dressed is a grey suit and walking the ramp in his inherent style, Akshay made a lot of hearts skip a beat, as he looked dashing and debonair in his Gabbar look.
Akshay Kumar took on to twitter and wrote, “My first experience inside the training ring of Bombay Races. Wishing Mr. Mallya and Signature, best of luck.”
Well, very few people know that while Akshay was walking the ramp, his wife Twinkle Khanna, was undergoing surgery at the Breach Candy Hospital.
For Akshay, it was commitment first. Twinkle has been apparently diagnosed with kidney stone. She was in pain and had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment. This development then threatened to jeopardize Akshay’s appearance at the derby event at Mahalaxmi Race Course as he wished to be with Twinkle at the hospital. But the actor decided to honour his commitment to the brand he is an ambassador for.

Coming back to the event, the designer duo, Falguni and Shane, who showcased their Luxury Cruise 2014 collection at the event were happy and excited to have Akshay Kumar as their show stopper, and post the event they stated, “We were very happy and excited to have one of the most good looking actors in Bollywood walk the ramp for us for the first time. Akshay Kumar has a great physique and is very stylish. With his body type and personal style he can carry anything with ease.”

Falguni And Shane Peacock used signature embellishments like feathers, sequins and prints to highlight the sheer chiffons and nets to create seductive magic.
What we got to see were sensational creations by this designer duo in the form of micro minis, crop tops, chiffon maxis, figure contouring dresses and much more.
Their collection consists of gowns, crop tops, trousers, body suits, chiffon maxis and more, which were showcased during the fashion show.
