The adaptation of British series ‘Tonight’s The Night’ focuses on the journey of the unsung heroes who went against all odds to help the society improve and worked as an inspiration for others to change their outlook. The show’s concept is to celebrate the goodness and happiness in everyone’s life.
The first episode aired on Sunday. Real life extraordinary people are invited to the show to get noticed and appreciated by people for their amazing work. These real life stories will move people to tears. Along with them came some TV celebrities like comedian Kapil Sharma, the lead pair from Star Plus show ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’– Deepika Singh and Anas Rashid. Bollywood celebs like Alia Bhatt and Shilpa Shetty were a part of the episode as well. Singer Arijit Singh was the musical guest for the episode.
The second episode which will air on next Sunday will be a star studded episode with a brilliant line up: Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn, Huma Qureshi, Cricketers Kapil Dev, and Irfan Pathan and Musicians Daler Mehndi and Siddharth Mahadevan!
It is great to see Amitabh Bachchan back on TV with his amazing hosting skills. He is charismatic, gracious and empathetic.
Big B took to twitter to thank his fans for showering him with love and support for the show. He was overwhelmed by response.
The show will air every Sunday, 8 PM only on Star Plus.
