MUMBAI: It’s not always that we see an indie film like garner the attention of the masses and Bollywood the way ‘Ship Of Theseus’ has. But with Kiran Rao involved, this isn’t just another indie.
Kiran Rao, director Anand Gandhi and actor Sohum Shah were spotted at a launch of a book tie-in with the film ‘Ship Of Theseus’. While all three of them seem relaxed, they also seemed slightly shy about posing for photos.
In many photos, the three of them stood at attention, with their hands in their pockets, looking straight at the camera. Surely, they’ll get better at this as they get exposed more to the ways of the shutterbugs.
Meanwhile, Kiran Rao was her usual self with her brown slingbag contrasting her orange outfit. She even faux-posed for a few photos later on in the launch. On the other hand, both Anand Gandhi and Sohum Shah made an appearance in non-showy, comfortable outfits.
‘Ship Of Theseus’ may not be a massy film like a ‘Rowdy Rathore’ or ‘Dabangg’, but such exposure will buy it eyeballs from the niche audience wanting to watch such films. ‘Ship Of Theseus’ release on 19 July, 2013.
