Bollywood actors and family friends gave a warm welcome to actor Salman Khan after he returned back home last night. Following 2002 hit and run case where he has been sentenced for five years in jail. The actor is on two days interim bail till he does not receive the final copy of judgment by the court.

Many Bollywood celebrities were spotted at Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. Close friends Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherji, Bipasha Basu, Suniel Shetty and many more visited Salman’s place last night.

Family members, Arpita Khan Sharma, Alvira Khan, brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan, sister in law Malaika Arora Khan with son Arhaan, Seema Khan, brother in law Pulkit Samrat were also spotted visiting Salman Khan’s home.

Actress Karisma Kapoor who is known to be close to Salman and has worked with him in many films was also spotted dropping in at Galaxy Apartment in Bandra. Also actress Daisy Shah who did her debut film ‘Jai Ho’ with Salman Khan was amongst others who came to meet Salman.

Late visitors, Dabangg co-star Sonakshi Sinha, ex girlfriend Sangeeta Bijlani was among others. Sonakshi Sinha instantly tweeted in support of Salman after the verdict tweeting, Terrible news. Dnt knw wht to say except tht will stand by@BeingSalmanKhan no matter what. Hes a good man and no 1 can tk tht away frm him.

Among the visitors was BJP spokesperson Shaina NC, who was spotted interacting with Salman’s brother Sohail Khan.

Disheartened with the verdict, also actors Sonu Sood, Chunky Pandey, Atul Agnihotri, veteran actor Prem Chopra, director Ritesh Sidhwani, singer Mika Singh and director David Dhawan were amongst others who visited Salman Khan.

Huge crowd gathered outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartment to catch the glimpse of him. Tight security was beefed up for Salman when he arrived back from the court. With saddened and emotional eyes; fans gathered holding banners saying ‘We support Salman Khan’.

The defence lawyer Harish Salve argued in the court saying that no one can put anyone in jail without proper order. Bombay High Court later granted Salman Khan two days of interim bail, till May 8th.

Salman has been booked under Section 304 A of the Indian Penal Code (rash and negligent driving); 279 (rash driving); 337 (causing minor injuries); 338 (causing major injuries) 427 (negligence) in connection with the case.

Under Motor Vehicle Act Sections 34 (a), (b) read with 181 (driving vehicle in contravention of rules); 185 (driving at great speed after consuming alcohol).
