MUMBAI: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been on a promotional spree, visiting radio stations, comedy shows, quiz shows and holding press conferences.
In a press-con held in Delhi, Ranveer Singh spoke about how happy he was regarding the hoo-ha over his and Deepika Padukone‘s chemistry in their upcoming film ‘Ram-Leela‘, he said, “I’m happy that the biggest talking point of the movie is the chemistry between me and Deepika.”
He added, “It is important that in a love story the chemistry between the actors gets appreciated.”
Deepika as ever looked gorgeous, in a spaghetti strap silver-grey shimmery anarkali and a neon pink dupatta. While Ranveer looked smart and tall in a navy blue safari suit, with a neon pink pocket square matching Deepika’s attire.
“When someone is making a romantic film, you need to believe that the two people are in love with each other, only then can the audience sympathize with them,” said Ranveer Singh hoping that the audience would believe that his and Deepika’s characters are in love.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, ‘Ram-Leela’ starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone is an adaptation of Shakespeare’s epic romantic play ‘Romeo and Juliet‘, which is set to hit the screens on November 15, 2013.
