Deepika Padukone, like many many of her Bollywood contemporaries, is deeply religious. How do we know? Well, she’s spotted at Siddhivinayak and other temples, for starters…

Even in her interviews, Deepika maintains that she is religious and spiritual. So it was no surprise to see the beautifully ethereal Deepika Padukone make a trip to Mumbai’s famed Siddhivinayak temple yesterday.

Clad in a demure creamy white anarkali, which she accessorised not with a dupatta but with a long shrug (clever fashion statement, this!), Deepika looked stunning and elegant as she was whisked into the temple. Like any ardent devotee, Deepika took off her pretty gold mojri slippers before entering the temple premises.

With Ram Leela having opened to mixed reviews, and steady box office results, no wonder Deepika Padukone was thanking the Lord.

Also seen yesterday was Deepika with her Ram aka Ranveer Singh at a multiplex in Pune. Deepika donned a clever black and white striped number to this event.

Deepika Padukone looked like a queen in an Indian costume. Ranveer Singh kept it simply black and white. But, in the end it was Deepika Padukone who stole all hearts away with her million dollar smile.

While on the other hand FIR had been registered against Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and the entire cast, along with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the producers. On Tuesday while the ‘love-birds’ were all over Kolkata, the Punjab and Haryana high court ordered stay on release of the film until further notice. (SEE MORE HERE)
