MUMBAI: Bollywood was full of Eid parties over yesterday. One of these was at ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ director Shaad Ali’s residence.
Many of Shaad Ali’s colleagues were seen at the party. Most of these, the director has worked with previously. Superstar Amitabh Bachchan came with his son Abhishek Bachchan. Both of them had starred together in ‘Bunty Aur Babli’. There would have been a ‘Kajra Re’ moment had Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan attended the do as well.
Also seen were prolific lyricist Gulzar and his friend director-composer Vishal Bhardwaj. Another lyricist seen at the bash was Javed Akhtar who came along with Shabana Azmi.
Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, who must be very happy with ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, was also spotted. Arjun Rampal too attended the party for a while.
It truly was a festive occasion for everyone in the Bollywood fraternity.
