MUMBAI: Alia Bhatt is just one film old in Bollywood, but she’s already been linked up with two co-stars. While shooting for and promoting ‘Student Of The Year’, she was linked with Varun Dhawan. Currently shooting for ‘2 States’, she’s connected to her co-star Arjun Kapoor.
She was recently spotted at a special screening of ‘D-Day’ with Arjun Kapoor. That’s what got the rumour mills running this time around.
“I am not dating Arjun. We get along very well. That’s it. I am not going to severe ties with my friends just to put a lid on such rumours,” Alia Bhatt said.
She does admit though that she finds both Arjun and Varun attractive, but she doesn’t want to fall in love so soon. “I don’t have so much time at my disposal. Isn’t love a very heavy word? We use the word ‘love’ very frivolously. Why do people say ‘I love you’ so easily? Even when I had boyfriends, I wasn’t in love per se. A person does not need to be in love to be in a relationship,” the Alia Bhatt says.
At the same time, she admits that she is no saint. Alia Bhatt clarifies, “And I won’t lie that I have had boyfriends in the past. In fact, I had two boyfriends in school. I am no saint.”
This is not the only attention that the young girl is currently enjoying. The buzz is that Bollywood’s toyboy Ranbir Kapoor himself has taken a liking to the Bhatt girl. He was the one who suggested her name to most directors. Alia Bhatt concurs, “Well, he did tell Imtiaz Ali (for ‘Highway’) about me.”
Looks like there’s no shortage of boys for this ‘Student Of The Year’. Let’s hope Alia Bhatt eventually selects the object of her affections well.
