Bollywood industry graced the red carpet in their stunning style statement. Shah Rukh Khan and Kapil Sharma turned the show into a laugh riot and Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt gave amazing dance performances. Salman Khan’s act was one of the best performances of the night. ‘Bajirao Mastani’ won big at the awards ceremony this year.

Bollywood’s favourite couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone took the awards for the Best Actor and Best Actress for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Piku’, respectively. Ranveer also performed with SRK and taught him signature step from his song, ‘Malhari’. The actor, after receiving his award, came down and touched Deepika Padukone’s parents’ feet. Aww! Deepika too got a little emotional on her win. She dedicated her award to her parents and her director of ‘Piku’, Shoojit Sircar. Amitabh Bachchan won Best Actor in Critics choice category for ‘Piku’ whereas Kangana Ranaut won Best Actress in Critics choice for her role in ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’. Priyanka Chopra won supporting actor award for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and Deepika received the award on her behalf. It was also one of the best moment when Sanjay Leela Bhansali won best director award after 9 years. He was felicitated with a standing ovation which made him a little emotional.
