MUMBAI: After taking movie buffs on a tour to the capital city with his first film ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ and teaching them the nuances of becoming a successful wedding planner, director Maneesh Sharma now heads down to the pink city of Jaipur.
And his next film post ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ is titled ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’. The film stars Sushant Singh Rajput of ‘Kai Po Che’ fame, Parineeti Chopra and newcomer Vanni Kapoor.
The first look poster creates quite a buzz with kitsch art graphics about Jaipur and especially the characters. With intentional spelling errors, lines straight from a railway station platform stall, the raunchy, titillating books and a happy condom picture; this one looks like pure unadulterated romance (pun intended).
Set to release on 13 September ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ by the first look looks like another romantic ride from Maneesh Sharma.
Especially when we have Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra heat up things, this one’s eagerly awaited.
