PUNE: For a while now, rumours have been doing the rounds, insinuating that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is to make a grand comeback to celluloid. However, the actress herself feels that she never went anywhere in the first place, so where is the question of a comeback?
Spotted at a jewelry store launch in Pune, the lovely Mrs. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (who skipped a visit to IIFA last weekend, where her husband Abhishek Bachchan performed) looked ethereal and graceful in a heavily embroidered red anarkali suit. Her light eyes were made up to perfection, and she was looking more toned and svelte than since before her pregnancy.
When asked about her plans to make a re-entry into Bollywood, Aishwarya said in no uncertain terms: “I didn’t go anywhere so how will I make a comeback. Somehow I do not understand the word. Once I sign a film, a formal announcement will be made.”
That should certainly put rumours to rest, we think.
