MUMBAI: Mansoor Khan was a director with four hit films to his name, and then he stopped making films. Now he’s back, but not to filmmaking.
Director Mansoor Khan turned writer with the launch of his book ‘The Third Curve’ and his family members from Bollywood attended the event.
As Aamir Khan was shooting for ‘Peekay’, he wasn’t able to attend it. But his wife Kiran Rao was present and so was actor Imran Khan.
Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira and Imran Khan’s mother Nuzhat Khan made their presence felt as well.
Mansoor Khan entered the industry with ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’ and then went on to direct two other films with Aamir Khan in the lead in ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander’ and ‘Akele Hum Akele Tum’, before switching to Shah Rukh Khan for ‘Josh’. After that he left movie-making to take up farming.
We’re sure Mansoor Khan’s life itself is worthy of a film adaptation.
