Kareena Kapoor Reveals A Secret About Salman Khan

TetleyGreenTea002[tps_footer]Kareena Kapoor, as the brand ambassador of Tata Global Beverages, launched its green tea in six different flavours. She attended the launch wearing a green Rachel Roy outfit, hair left open. And nude make-up just made this Kapoor look stunning.

Apparently, Kareena was chosen as the ambassador for this product because she consciously follows a healthy lifestyle.

“Kareena has an appeal across the country. So we are going to go pan-India but we will focus especially hard on the South market. This is because if you look at the South market, it tends to be an early test bed for newer categories and they tend to do better in the South. So we will focus on the South as well as go national. We are going to target urban India and the next level after the affluent class.” stated Vikram Grover, Vice President – Marketing, Tata Global Beverages.

The campaign has a catchy tag line, ‘Inside Walla Snan’ (cleanse the interiors of the body). The genesis of this came from the consumers as most of them stated that they drank green tea because it flushes the toxins out of their body and it contains a high level of antioxidants.

Indians are majorly black tea drinkers. Green tea has been an acquired cultural habit that came along with the urban India’s urge to stay fit.

“Tata Tetley Green Tea was launched in India a little over five years ago – much before it became as topical as it has become now. We spotted the trend very early and capitalised on it. At this point of time, we are continuing to use the same packaging and the same portfolio of products as we believe that it works very well with consumers.” added Vikas Grover.

Coming back to Kareena, the actress was on a high as she is starting to shoot for Singham 2 with Ajay Devgn. At the event, she even revealed a little secret about Salman Khan and also the fact that she has got addicted to green tea thanks to Salman.
