MUMBAI: As is expected of him, Bollywood’s very first on-screen superhero aka Hrithik Roshan kick-started his promotional rounds for his upcoming release, ‘Krrish 3’.
Spotted on sets of a popular reality TV show, the indefatigable Hrithik, who has just emerged from a dangerous brain surgery, was all smiles and laughs as he marketed his film. In an olive green shirt, grey blazer and jeans, Hrithik looked every bit the demi-God he is.
The light-eyed actor spent time speaking about his ailment, before launching into a tirade of jokes and rib-tickling humour, along with host Kapil Sharma.
Also seen were TV actors turned comedians (comediennes?) Sunil Grover aka Gutthi, Ali Asghar (dadi) and Upasana Singh as Bua.
Missing in action from the maiden ‘Krrish 3’ promotions though were the film’s leading ladies, Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut. Off late, rumours were swirling fast and thick of the two not being able to see eye to eye, and perhaps this absence was a fallout of that.
Nevertheless, studio audiences had a whale of a time interacting with their favourite superhero Hrithik Roshan. ‘Krrish 3’, directed by Rakesh Roshan, releases on November 1, 2013.
