[tps_footer]The gorgeous ladies of Dedh Ishqiya, Madhuri Dixit, Huma Qureshi, along with Abhishek Chaubey, Vishal Bhardwaj and Rekha Bhardwaj launched the music of their film in Mumbai on December 19, 2013.
Madhuri Dixit looked drop dead gorgeous in a beautiful blue Jade nine yard designed by the talented duo Monica and Karishma. Her bright cherry matte lipstick and kohl eyeliner make-up added that classy touch to this diva that can make any man go weak on his knees. Not to forget the heavy golden embroidery work at the border of the sari made Madhuri dazzle and the shutterbugs just could not stop clicking her.
Huma Qureshi stunned in a pink anarkali designed by Mehvish Majithia. The music launch was held at held at Reliance Digital, Mumbai and along with Madhuri and Huma the director Abhishek Chaubey, playback singer Rekha Bharadwaj and music director turned producer turned director Vishal Bharadwaj were also present.
“You can be in any shape and size to dance. It has been proven time and again, you have seen Bharti on Jhalak, she did such a fantastic job and you don’t have to be a particular body type to dance,” pat came Madhuri’s reply when a reporter asked Madhuri Dixit if one needs to be slim to dance.
Madhuri Dixit feels her work commitments can always wait, as family is her priority. She said, “Family is important to me, my priority is that. If I have some event to attend in my children’s school then I go there first and accordingly plan things for the day. It is about time management and I think every working woman goes through that. It is not just me.”
When asked if her husband Dr. Nene has seen the promos of her film, a beaming Madhuri said, “Well he has liked the promos of the film especially the Aatariya.”
Dedh Ishqiya is Madhuri Dixit’s comeback film where she essays the role of Begum Para. The other stars in the film are: Huma Qureshi as Munira Aslam Zia ul Bano, Naseeruddin Shah as Iftikhaar alias Khalujaan, Arshad Warsi as Razzaakh Hussain alias Babban and Vijay Raaz as Jaan Mohammad.
Dedh Ishqiya is set to hit the theaters on January 10, 2014.[/tps_footer]
