Nihal Bitla, who is suffering from rare genetic disorder ‘Progeria’, shared his life story on a Facebook page. Following Nihal’s post, Aamir Khan planned to meet him with loads of goodies for him. Nihal in his post shared how he suffered problems because of his diseases and that how Aamir Khan’s film Taare Zameen Par star made him feel “optimistic” about life. Thereafter, Aamir Khan was keen to meet his 14-year-old fan.

During their meet, Nihal who was overwhelmed meeting Aamir Khan, gifted a drawing of lord Ganesha. Appreciating his drawing, Aamir Khan also posed for the picture with Nihal and his drawing. Aamir also gave an autograph to his younger fan and expressed the happiness of meeting Nihal.
Nihal in his thank you post wrote, “Thank you Aamir uncle for making my dream come true. Your ‘Taare Zameen Par’ always inspired me to face adverse situations and I was always knew that one day I will meet you.”

Aamir was also thanked for the “goodies” that he brought for Bitla. “I am feeling very optimistic and positive about life. I am sure you will help spread the word for the Progeria Research Foundation to identify 60 more kids like me in India so that they can get the right treatment.
