MUMBAI: Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan took a great step ahead for science yesterday.

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, who has been on a branding spree recently, launched the stem cell banking facility by LifeCell.

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan also pledged her daughter’s umbilical cord’s stem cells. “The most important role in my life is that of being a mother. Choosing to bank our baby’s umbilical cord stem cells…is a treasured gift that will stay with her for life and is an investment for her healthy future.”

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan said she was aware of stem cell banking for earlier because she has an interest in the medical field and also has a lot of doctor friends.

The actress might soon possibly be seen in Prahlad Kakkar’s ‘Happy Anniversary’.
