[tps_footer]The Bollywood stars are home post the four-day star-studded IIFA Awards in Tampa Bay. While Hrithik Roshan was among the first ones to come home, many others including Farhan Akhtar, Rajkumar Hirani and Kainaat Arora finally came back home to resume work.
Farhan Akhtar came home with the Best Actor Award for the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag which swept almost all the awards in major categories. Farhan was spotted with wife Adhuna at the airport along with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and his wife P.S. Bharathi.
“I have received awards for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag but this is the first time I am receiving the award in the presence of Milkha Singh. It’s a great moment for me and I am extremely honoured to receive the award,” said Farhan on his return.
Riteish Deshmukh too returned home to join pregnant wife Genelia D’Souza who had stayed back.
Kangana Ranaut stole the spotlight from the stars at the airport in a floral easygoing dress paired up with a cardigan. Kangana Ranaut did not walk the green carpet at The IIFA Awards this year but proved that she is there to give competition to all her contemporaries back home.
Rishi Kapoor, who sent shivers down the viewers spine as the villain Rauf Lala in Agneepath, too came back with the award for best actor in a negative role at The IIFA Awards.
“When I had played the good boy on the screen, I never won any award but now when I have turned bad, I have been appreciated. I was honoured to be here,” said Rishi Kapoor.
The IIFA Awards were held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Raymond James Stadium, the Indian cinema’s extravaganza was enjoyed by an overwhelming crowd of about twenty thousand people who were entertained and enthralled by a bevy of Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan, Madhuri Dixit, Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.[/tps_footer]
