MUMBAI: Six billion hearts were whipped into a frenzy when the light-eyed, supple limbed, intense hero Hrithik Roshan danced to the tunes of ‘Deva Shree Ganesha’ in 2012’s monster hit ‘Agneepath’.
Last evening, Hrithik reprised his religious avatar from the selfsame film, when he stepped out to immerse his own Ganpati idol. Dressed in a simple vermilion coloured tee and jeans, Hrithik looked leaner, probably owing to the fact that he just underwent brain surgery.
Hrithik personally accompanied the elephant headed Ganpati from his home to Juhu beach, where he surrendered the idol to the comforting embrace of the ocean.
Accompanying Hrithik was his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, and his two young boys Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
