The opening ceremony for the PBL was held at National Sports Club of India (NSCI) in Mumbai on Saturday. The ceremony was graced by many Bollywood celebs and sports personalities.

Jacqueline Fernandez wore a shimmery outfit and looked radiant. The ‘Brothers’ actress performed on her hit tracks from 2015-‘Sooraj Dooba Hain’, ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’ from movie ‘Roy’ and ‘Hangover’ from ‘Kick’. Dancing to all the peppy numbers, Jacqueline’s performance was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.

The opening ceremony was also graced by PBL’s brand ambassador Akshay Kumar. The actor is not only the brand ambassador for this league but also co-owns one team-Mumbai Rockets. The ceremony saw performance from musicians Salim–Sulaiman. The music composers entertained the audience with their hit tracks and ended the performance with Shah Rukh Khan’s song, ‘Chak De India’.

On work front, Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in ‘Housefull 3’ along with Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. The actress is also working on Rohit Dhawan’s action flick ‘Dishoom’ alongside Varun Dhawan and John Abraham. She will be seen in music video opposite Sooraj Pancholi in which she will be making her singing debut.[/tps_footer]
