With dance songs becoming the norm in every Bollywood film, it becomes all the more difficult to churn out a hit number. But composers Vishal-Shekhar have been good at this job so far. While keeping their songs danceable yet not as sleazy as some item numbers are, they’ve done well.

Now for ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’, they get Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan to shake their ‘tooh’ while dancing in front of villagers and at a wedding ceremony.

What is ‘tooh’ you ask? See for yourself.

This song takes place in a village and that probably means it is in the latter part of the movie once the story shifts to the hinterland. Kareena Kapoor Khan initially dances on the stage, but soon Imran Khan joins her when they come onto the road as part of the baaraat for a wedding, which strangely reminded us of ‘Rum & Whisky’ song from Vicky Donor and the ending of ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’ of which Imran Khan was a part of.

Otherwise, Dharma’s glossy feel is maintained, and even though the song may initially sound stupid, it looks like singer Mika’s golden touch may well make this song a hit too.
