MUMBAI: Bollywood actors Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan have kickstarted the promotional activities of their upcoming film ‘Gori Tere Pyar Mein’. They were spotted at the Radio City Studio in Mumbai for the same on Wednesday, October 23, 2013.
‘Gori Tere Pyar Mein’ is written and directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor who is on a high post ‘Aashiqui 2’.
The movie was announced in 2011, but was delayed due to casting issues. Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor were supposed to be the lead pair of the film but backed out of the project as they found the script ‘not up to the mark’.
Some even say that Sonam walked out of the project, as she did not want anyone to think that she got the film not on her merit but because of the fact that she was dating the director Punit.
If this was not enough, Nargis Fakhri had been signed on for an item number in the film, however, due to shooting conflicts, Esha Gupta was then cast as a replacement.
All said and done, the film is now ready for release on 22 November 2013.
