MUMBAI: Mahesh Bhatt seems to be becoming an advocate for neo noir cinema, with the filmmaker turning up for a special screening and press meet of the film ‘B.A. Pass’.
The film, helmed by Ajay Bahl has seemingly impressed Bhatt so much that he has vouched for the film. Bhatt was seen at the press meet of ‘B.A. Pass’, praising the film for its honesty.
Said Mahesh Bhatt: “I don’t generally go for film screenings but when Bharat bhai invited me to see ‘B.A. Pass’ I couldn’t say no because he supported me when I made Naam. But when I saw the film I found it stunning, bold, engaging and honest.”
Also spotted at the screening were the lead actor of ‘B.A. Pass’, Shilpa Shukla (of ‘Chak De India’ fame) and Shadab Kamal.
