Firstly, Priyanka unveiled the first trailer of her next movie ‘Jai Gangaajal’ earlier this week. Yesterday, the actress snapped in Delhi for UNICEF event, Weekly Iron Folic Acid Supplementation (WIFS) campaign.

Priyanka Chopra is UNICEF India’s Ambassador. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress has been supporting UNICEF’s youth related work in India for eight years now. Priyanka and other members on the UNICEF panel started event by lighting up the diya. The cause Priyanka was supporting this time was to raise awareness to eradicate nutritional anaemia in adolescents. The actress also said that pills will be distributed to children in schools and anganwadis to reduce the widespread presence of anaemia. Priyanka also said that she also started taking pills about six months ago that helps her to stay healthy and fit for her hectic working schedule.

For UNICEF event, Priyanka decided to go for an ethnic look this time. The actress wore a pink Tarun Tahiliani anarkali and earrings from Madhurya.

On work front, Priyanka’s role in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ received tremendous amount of positive response from the audience and critics. For her upcoming movie ‘Jai Gangaajal’, Priyanka will be playing the role of a brave police officer who only fights against corruption and for justice.
