[tps_footer]Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt who is surviving his five-year jail sentence at Yerwada Jail in Pune, is out on parole for 30 days. The actor has been granted parole for his daughter’s nose surgery.
Sanjay Dutt has already been on furlough many times. He has spent over 118 days out of jail, either on parole or furlough between May 2013 and May 2014. The actor is serving his sentence after being convicted in the 1993 Bombay Blast Case for illegal possession of weapons. The last time ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ actor was out of jail was in December 2014. His frequent break from jail has been criticized in the past as evidence of VIP treatment.
Just after his release yesterday, colleagues and close friends Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sanjay Gupta visited Sanjay Dutt at his Bandra residence. Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Sanjay Dutt who share a great long lasting relation in Bollywood, were seen hugging each other. Manyata Dutt and filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra were also seen meeting and greeting each other.

The actor is convicted under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities Act in the 1993 blasts. In the year 2013, Sanjay Dutt was sentenced for five-year imprisonment by the Supreme Court. Sanjay Dutt’s parole has always been a topic of debate; many suggest that the actor is getting more attention due to his stardom.
Once ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ actor is out, he will soon start with the shooting of his upcoming film ‘OMG-Oh My God’ sequel, directed by Umesh Shukla and also for ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’. sequel with Arshad Warsi.
Also, actor Arshad Warsi who shares a strong bond with Sanjay Dutt was heard quoting that once the actor is released, the work on the third part of the Munnabhai series will commence. The audience can hardly wait to see Sanjay on the silver screen, especially in the Munnabhai franchise.
