Catfights, insecurities and cut throat competition are not new for the tinsel town. Many actresses have been the brunt of this rash industry, and rumor mills suggest that the highly talented actress Parineeti Chopra is also feeling the pinch of B-Town.
After being inactive post Kill Dill, Parineeti is away from the limelight too. Recent news conveyed that the Ishaqzaade actress was being considered for the female lead role in Salman Khan starrer Sultan. The film Sultan is much in spotlight for its leading actress, many actresses have been speculated to be a part of the film, but Parineeti is said to be shortlisted for the same.
However, not everything is rosy for the cute actress Parineeti. Rumors making rounds suggest that Parineeti opted out from the film Sultan as the makers wanted to have actress Anushka Sharma as the female lead and had offered Parineeti the second lead in the film. Both the actresses Anushka and Parineeti are YRF’s talent bundles, but this decision did not go too well with Parineeti.

Speculations say that because Parineeti did not want to play the second lead in the film, she opted out of it. Pari has been away from the silver screen since a long time, but seems like she doesn’t want to take a risk of being labeled as the second lead so early in her career. Whereas, the PK actress Anushka Sharma, who is riding high with back to back films, seems to be all blissful with this offer in her kitty. No clarifications or official announcements for the same have been made.
Not sure about the tons of rumors making rounds, Sultan’s lead actor Salman had earlier clarified on the star cast saying that the movie Sultan will have two leading ladies, further adding to the details, one of the actresses will be a senior one and one will be a new face.
Now, which actress finally bags the role opposite Salman Khan is still a mystery.
