BENGALURU: When India’s audience first caught sight of Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, Sonakshi Sinha, in the movies it was in the role of a village girl in the Salman Khan-starrer ‘Dabangg’. She continued appearing as a village girl in movies like ‘Joker’ and ‘Rowdy Rathore’. But it looks like that has now changed.
Sonakshi Sinha was spotted being a model for Rajguru. She wore his sari creations at a fashion show in Bengaluru.
By now, everyone knows that Sonakshi Sinha can pull off a sari even in her sleep. The ‘Lootera’ actress recently showed her sari prowess in the film set in the fifties. Many people from the audience (as well as critics) were enamoured by the saris she wore in the film.
At the fashion show on Tuesday, Sonakshi Sinha was the showstopper for the evening, wearing a black sari. With pink and gold linings, and a golden flowery design at the bottom, Sonakshi (and her sari) stood out amongst the other models, and rightly so.
A black bindi and gold earrings completed the traditional yet chic look of the actress.
Sonakshi Sinha has been in the news constantly since ‘Lootera’ and that looks to be continuing what with ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’ a fortnight away. As long as we see her in such lovely saris, it’s always a pleasure.
