[tps_footer]Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is starring in Neerja Bhanot’s biopic movie titled ‘Neerja’. The film released on Friday Feb 19 and the actress is still on the last leg of promotional tour. Yesterday, a special screening of the film was organized for Neerja Bhanot’s batch mates from Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai.

For the screening, Sonam Kapoor wore a Rashmi Varma marsala hued keyhole kurta and paired it with matching chudidar and black dupatta. Side parted sleek hair do, fringe earrings and black pumps completed her look. The actress posed and interacted with the batch mates. Sonam was accompanied by director Ram Madhvani and the team of ‘Neerja’.
At the screening, Neerja Bhanot’s classmates gave Sonam the sweetest gift for her portrayal in the film. As a thankful gesture, they gave the actress a T-Shirt signed by Neeraj Bhanot‘s classmates. Atul Kasbekar, ace photographer and producer of ‘Neerja’, posted a picture with a caption that revealed the classmates have decided to make Sonam an honorary member of the class of 1978 of Bombay Scottish High School. In the picture, Sonam looked really happy to be receiving such a precious gift from them.

Sonam Kapoor has been receiving quite a positive response from the critics and the audience. Even those people who thought the actress was all about fashion and no acting, have been praising her performance in this film. After ‘Ranjhanna’, ‘Neerja’ happens to Sonam’s best performance in her career till date .
