New Year has started and along with it the much awaited season of award shows. Last night witnessed the very famous and grand event, Star Guild Awards 2015. A lot of talented Bollywood artists were cheered and acknowledged for their amazing performance in year 2014.

Here’s the list of winners who bagged a lot of trophies in Star Guild Awards 2015

Best Actor in a Leading Role : Shahid Kapoor

Actor Shahid Kapoor left everyone speechless with his mind blowing performance in film ‘Haider’, for which he won the Best Actor in a Leading Role Award.

Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female): Priyanka Chopra

We saw it coming! After all, Priyanka Chopra’s ground breaking performance in biopic ‘Mary Kom’ deserves all the praise and certainly justifies her winning the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female).

Best Film: PK

Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ broke all the records and became the highest grossing film of all time. ‘PK’, directed by Rajkumar Hirani also stole all the thunder in Star Guild Awards 2015 and won the award for Best Film.

Best Performance in a Negative Role: Retiesh Deshmukh

Actor Retiesh Deshmukh beat Kay Kay Menon, Nawazuddin Siddique, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Govinda, and won the Star Guild Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role for his performance in film ‘Ek Villain’.

Most Promising Debut (Male): Tiger Shroff

Actor Tiger Shroff bagged Star Guild Award for Best Debut Actor for his film ‘Heropanti’.

Most Promosing Debut (Female): Kirti Sanon

‘Heropanti’ Actress Kirti Sanon won the Star Guild Award for Best Debut Actor (Female).

Best Director: Rajkumar Hirani

‘PK’ bagged more awards in the Star Guild Awards 2015. The film’s director Rajkumar Hirani won Best Director Award.

Best Debut Director: Omung Kumar

Director Omung Kumar was awarded with Best Debut Director award at the Star Guild Awards 2015.

Best Story & Best Screenplay: Vikas Bahl, Chaitally Parmar & Parvez Shaikh

‘Queen’s team, Vikas Bahl, Chaitally Parmar & Parvez Shaikh bagged both the awards for Best Story and Best Screenplay at the Star Guild Awards 2015.

Best Choreographer: Bosco-Caesar

Bosco-Caesar won Star Guild Award for Best Choreographer for ‘Tu Meri’ song from the film ‘Bang Bang’.

Best VFX: Happy New Year

Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Happy New Year’ won Best VFX.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Rakesh Roshan

Director, Producer and former Actor Rakesh Roshan was acknowledged and praised by Lifetime Achievement Award.

Best Dialogue: PK

Abhijat Joshi & Rajkumar Hirani won Star Guild Award in Best Dialogue category for their film ‘PK’.

Apart from these, Alia Bhatt won Gionee Most Stylish Youth Icon Award, Priyanka Chopra won Hindustan Times Celebrity for a cause Award, whereas ‘Highway’ and ‘Mary Kom’ won the Guild Presidents Awards. Actress Shraddha Kapoor won Star Plus Shinning Superstar Award.
