Prabhu Deva Makes His Grand Entry Into Production, To Produce Three Films!

Very talented star, Prabhu Deva, who started as a choreographer in the industry, has done it all. Yes, right from acting todirecting and now the multitalented superstar is all set to don Producer’s hat! On Monday, Prabhu Deva launched his very own production house called Prabhu Deva Studios!

With a grand event, Prabhu Deva made some big announcement at the launch of his production house. The star revealed that he’ll be producing three yet-untitled Tamil films under his home banner. One of these untitled projects will be directed by veteran filmmaker Priyadarshan and will feature actor Prakash Raj. The untitled project will be co-produced by Big Studios of A L Vijay and Amala Paul.

At the launch, Prabhu Deva expressed his happiness by saying, “I’m really proud to be associated with filmmaker Vijay’s Think Big Studios for Priyadarshan sir’s next film. I’ll be co-producing the film with Vijay.” Whereas Prabhu Deva’s co-producer Vijay said that he felt honoured to produce a film which will be directed by ace filmmaker and his guru Priyadarshan. The filmmaker on the other hand feels really proud to have his disciple Prabhu Deva alongside him and producing the film.

The film with director Priyadarshan will go on the floors by the end of August and will be about AIDS awareness. Apart from Prakash Raj, the film will also star Sriya Reddy and Ashok Selvan

Prabhu Deva also revealed how nervous he felt to handle three projects at a time. The one of the other two films is a multi-starrer, which will be directed by Romeo Juliet director Lakshman and will star Jayam Ravi in the lead role. Prabhu Deva revealed that actor Jayam Ravi made an impression on him with his performance. Prabhu Deva’s another film will be directed by former associate of director Vijay, Victor Jayaraj. The film will mark Victor Jayaraj’s debut in cinema.
