The movie is receiving very good response from the critics and also from the audience. To celebrate and spread the movie’s message on a larger scale, Rani organised a special screening of her latest film for Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Prithviraj Chauhan in Mumbai.
Rani Mukerji sported a very casual yet formal look for the screening, she was seen wearing a white shirt, which she teamed it up with cream colour pants. Smokey eyes and nude lips completed her look.
Mardaani, which released on August 22, features Rani as Mumbai’s crime branch officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. This is for the first time that Rani will be seen portraying the role of a cop on screen. Rani Mukerji recently tied the knot with Yash Raj’s head honcho Aditya Chopra and post marriage, this is Rani’s first on screen appearance.[/tps_footer]
