Salman Khan and John Abraham have one thing in common. It’s their love for fitness and good health. Exactly what John had on his mind when he came forward a cycling event.
Tour De India 2013 – a cycling event under the aegis of UCI and CFI, announced its edition II on Tuesday, November 12, 2013.
John Abraham, who is the brand ambassador for this brand, and corporate personalities along with political leader Chhagan Bhujbal (Public Works & Special Assistance Department) were present at this grand event. Health Guru Mickey Mehta conducted an exercising session for the guests and also interacted with them to understand their health regime.
This multi city event will tour Mumbai, Jaipur and Delhi on 15 December, 17 December and 22 December respectively this year.
John Abraham on the launch of Edition II said: “I am very excited about my association with Tour De India because cycling has been a fun activity that is enjoyed by people every age. ID Sports has conducted seven Cyclothons in the last three years.
First year was in association with Salman Khan tapping two major metros close to fifteen thousand riders in Mumbai and Delhi. Second year saw the race going to Nasik Ghats with finales again in Mumbai in 2011 with more than seventeen thousand riders burning the roads.
This was followed by last year in 2012 when the race started from Sea Link Bandra to go across Dal lake in Srinagar and concluded at the Buddh Circuit in Delhi with about twenty thousand riders across three cities.
