As the couple solemnized their wedding in the presence of their family members, a number of popular figures from the business, entertainment and political sectors graced the occasion.
Both Ahana and Vaibhav went to seek blessings at the Iskcon temple in the morning. The groom’s wedding procession proceeded from Hyatt Regency around 04:00 pm, and the ceremony happened later at ITC Maratha followed by a grand reception.
Ahana’s wedding clothes are being designed by Neeta Lulla, but at her wedding reception she wore a Manish Malhotra designed orange coloured floor length anarkali.
The proud mother Hema Malini, looked breathtakingly gorgeous in a mint green sari with heavy golden work on the borders. Esha, who has a fractured hand, wore a red shimmer one-shoulder gown with diamond jewellery. Esha’s matching slings reminded us of the time when Shah Rukh Khan had injured his arm and used to flaunt his different kinds of slings.
Shah Rukh Khan, who had met with an accident a few days back while shooting for his upcoming film Happy New Year, made it a point to attend Ahana’s reception and wished the couple. He walked in with crutches and completed his look with a bandana. Shah Rukh has an emotional connect with the Deol’s as it was Hema Malini who had given Shah Rukh his first break in Dil Aashna Hai.
Deepika Padukone looked drop dead gorgeous in an Ombre Jade nine yard by Monica And Karishma, carried a gold clutch and teamed it up with jewellery from Amrapali.
Sonakshi Sinha, who came with mother Poonam Sinha, looked hot in a purple Ghagra Sari.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan went simple yet classy in a neon pink churidar kurta by Nachiket Barve, while Rekha wore her trademark Kanjeevaram sari with heavy gold jewellery.
