MUMBAI: With Ganpati celebrations on and Mumbaikars bursting with excitement, Bollywood too is up on the streets to seek blessings of Ganpati Bappa or bring abode Lord Ganesha to their own homes.
From Shilpa Shetty to Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan, all were quite excited during the visarjan as much as they were on the day of the festival. Actress Shraddha Kapoor of ‘Aashiqui 2’ fame, is however happy to enjoy the festivities from her house.
Shraddha Kapoor was spotted seeking blessings of the Elephant God, from her residence as other filmstar’s Ganpati made their way through the visarjan procession.
While the actor grooved to some beats, some ganpati dance, as Shilpa Shetty’s idol passed by, one would have loved to see Shraddha Kapoor dance an enjoy the festival with gusto on the streets of Mumbai!
The actress will be seen in a special song in ‘Ungli’ and also has a role in ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ alongside Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
For now it looks like the actress is happy staying away from the crowds this festive season. Maybe Shraddha maintains a low profile or isn’t a party animal.
