Bollywood’s handsome hunk Varun Dhawan, who is riding high on success after his recent released film ABCD 2, was spotted outside director Karan Johar’s house last night.
Varun Dhawan who has been signed by Karan Johar for the much-talked film Shuddhi was clicked in the parking lot of Karan Johar’s apartment. The heartthrob actor was seen wearing white vest, blue denim and slippers. Also spotted with Varun Dhawan was director Ayan Mukerji.
‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ director Ayan Mukherji was spotted holding a blue colour folder while he was leaving with Varun from Karan Johar’s apartment in their respective cars. We assume that the trio had a meeting to discuss about their upcoming project. Well, must say late night work!

Varun Dhawan, who is currently working on Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, will soon start shooting for Karan Johar’s production film Shuddhi, directed by Karan Malhotra.
Earlier Salman Khan was roped in for the project but due to some problems the project couldn’t take off as the Dabangg star is already caught up with his prior commitments.
And with the latest buzz, it was Salman Khan who recommended Varun Dhawan’s name to Karan Johar. Reportedly, Varun Dhawan said that it was Salman who suggested his name to Karan Johar. He has not replaced Salman Khan in the film; it was mutual decision of them. He also said that no one can replace Salman Khan and now that the film is in his kitty he is all set to make Salman proud.
Well, kudos to Varun Dhawan!
It was Salman Khan took to his twitter account first, congratulating Badlapur actor Varun Dhawan saying, “Kamaal karte ho Varun Dhawan…made ur dad n me so proud of u… happy Shhuddhi,” He also posted adorable picture of Varun alongside.
Karan Johar’s Shuddhi, is been directed by Agneepath director Karan Malhotra and is produced under Dharma Productions. The film stars, Student Of The Year pair, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The shooting of the film will soon go on floors.
