[tps_footer]Well, the occasion of Ahana Deol and Vaibhav Vora’s Sangeet party was on February 01, 2014. Everyone from mother Hema Malini to sister Esha Deol to the bride to be Ahana Deol were dressed to kill, but the one who actually killed it, was Sonam Kapoor.
Yes, Sonam Kapoor looked stunning in an Abu Sandeep off white nine yard at Ahana Deol‘s Sangeet ceremony. She looked gorgeous with minimal jewellery and her hair neatly tied up.
Bride to be Ahana also looked beautiful in a traditional pista green lehenga with floral designs, while her elder sister Esha Deol wore a silver-orange lehenga by Shyamal And Bhumika.
The sangeet ceremony was a grand event and saw the presence of most of the family members and several celebrities, such as Anushka Manchanda, Pia Trivedi, Siddharth Kapoor and Sudhanshu Pandey among others.
The groom Vaibhav, a Delhi-based businessman, met Ahana at her sister Esha’s wedding in June last year. Both fell for each other, and the two families had no issues in giving their consent for the marriage.
Hema Malini is excited about her younger daughter Ahana’s wedding and says that this was something, which she missed when she got married to Dharmendra.
“My marriage happened very quietly and quickly. There was no time or occasion for a big ceremony. But now there is finally going to be a big fat Punjabi wedding in my family,” said a beaming Hema Malini.
“Like a true Hindi film my daughter’s wedding will have two halves. The first-half of the wedding ceremony would be done in Punjabi style. The second-half of the wedding would be done in Tamil style,” she said adding that there will be “two pundits (priests), one from north India and the other from the south”.

Ahana’s wedding comes one and a half years after her elder sister Esha’s wedding to diamond merchant Bharat Takhtani.
“As Ahana’s is the second wedding in my family in quick succession it’s easier this time to arrange everything since we already know what all needs to be done. Having said that, it’s no less difficult for us to make all the wedding arrangements for the second time,” informed Hema Malini.
At the sangeet, one also saw the bride’s father Dharmendra who seems to be even more nervous than the bride and her mother.
