Special Screening For Shraddha Kapoor's Haider

Both Shahid Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor are awaiting the release of Haider on the big screen October 2. Both are on a constant promotional spree to get as many box office collections as possible. But more excited than them is Vishal Bhardwaj, the director of the movie.

Vidya Balan, last seen in Bobby Jasoos, was the highlight of the evening in a white anarkali and a blue sleeveless jacket. She will next be seen opposite Emraan Hashmi and Rajkumar Rao in Hamari Adhuri Kahani. UTV Motion Pictures head and Vidya Balan‘s husband Siddharth Roy Kapur was also seen accompanying her at the screening in a blue shirt and grey denims. Kunal Roy Kapur, brother of actor Aditya Roy Kapur (who is also rumoured to be Shraddha Kapoor‘s beau) and producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, wore a brown checkered shirt and skin colored pants and paired it up with his glasses.

Actress Huma Qureshi was also seen posing with director Abhishek Kapoor‘s girlfriend inspite of wearing a black shirt which had the tag ‘Por favor! No fotos gracias, which means no photos please,’ white leggings, a denim jacket and a black cap. Pakistan based singer and actor Ali Zafar wore a white and black sketched shirt and denims. His stubble is the same that will be seen in his upcoming movie Kill Dil.

Veteran singer Lata Mangeshkar was also spotted in a grey and white saree. What complimented her look was her classic pearl set- necklace and earrings. Shraddha Kapoor‘s mother Shivangi Kolhapure was along seen posing with the Haider poster, of which Shraddha Kapoor plays a pivotal role. She came dressed in a Indian wear and what real grabbed our attention was her multicolored slippers.

Gang of directors were spotted. Vishal Bhardwaj was seen in a white, an almost transparent kurti and denims, Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra and Abhishek Kapoor seen in a similar style. Anurag Basu and Anurag Kashyap, however, managed to keep their attire different. Host Mini Mathur was also seen in an Indian wear, a long red gown type dress with dupatta and a yellow purse. Accompanying her was husband and director Kabir Khan, clad in a white shirt, a maroon overcoat and pants.

Haider, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and co-written by Vishal Bharadwaj and Basharat Peer, is a modern-day adaptation of William Shakespeare‘s Hamlet, set in Kashmir. The film stars Shahid Kapur as Haider, Tabu as his mother and Shraddha Kapoor as Arshia, a journalist by profession and Haider’s love-interest. It releases on October 2, i.e. this week, along with Hrithik Roshan‘s Bang Bang!
