[tps_footer]Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna were caught on camera as they arrived at the International Airport, Mumbai from Casablanca.
Spotted in cool casuals the husband-wife duo looked very chilled out. Akshay looked dapper in a salt and pepper beard, something that is a very rare sight while Twinkle or Tina, as industry addresses her, looked chic and classy in denims, boots and a loose top.
Twinkle was seen carrying a Louis Vuitton cabin baggage, something that we are told she never travels without. Their children – son Aarav and daughter Nitara did not accompany them. Guess this was a short romantic getaway for them!
Akshay Kumar married Twinkle Khanna on January 17, 2001. Their son named Aarav was born on September 15, 2002 and their second child, daughter Nitara on September 25, 2012.
In the year 2008 Akshay was named the Sexiest Man Alive by People (India) magazine.
Year 2013 has not been a very good one for Akshay as far as the fate of his films at the Box Office. Askhay had three releases this year – Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara, Boss and Special 26. Both, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara and Boss failed to create a stir, however it was Special 26 that was appreciated by critics as well as the audiences.
Year 2014 seems to be looking good for him as he has three films lined up for release. In Holiday he is paired opposite Sonakshi Sinha and the film also stars Govinda in a pivotal role, It’s Entertainment stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Mithun Chakraborty and Sonu Sood and in Gabbar he was paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor earlier, but now the producers are considering Shruti Haasan. This film has a special appearance by Salman Khan who would be himself in the film and also a special item number by Kareena Kapoor Khan.
