Termed as Bollywood’s ‘Blockbuster’ director; Rohit Shetty’s Singham Returns starring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor was a hit. His first directorial film Zameen was a big flop. The actor, who came into the movie making business at the age of 17 as an assistant director to various directors, rose to fame with a comedy film Golmaal. After a bumpy ride for couple of years in the industry, his Golmaal series and Singham got him on the list of favorite directors of many. Having directed the king of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan in Chennai Express that broke and established many records; the director is set to make another film with the actor. Golmaal series, Singham series and Chennai Express garnered crores at the box office.
