MUMBAI: Don’t let your naughty imaginations get the better of you. We aren’t referring to Bollywood newbie Varun Dhawan’s gregarious love life.
Chocolate boy hero Varun Dhawan utilised his Sunday well by attending an awareness drive for Malaria and Dengue.
In a simple white tee, the ‘Student of The Year’ actor spoke about the need to be careful during the monsoons especially, to ensure one doesn’t get bitten by mosquitoes and subsequently infected by deadly viruses like malaria and dengue.
He expressed his concern and said this awareness programme is very important not only for the children but also for the older generation and together we can fight this disease.
Seen along with Varun were MLA Baba Siddiqui and Leander Paes.
The tennis ace Leander reported his reasons for attending this event and spreading awareness as he himself was a victim of Malaria and currently two of his family members are suffering from Dengue. “Its an awareness where we all have to play a part,” he concluded.
The trio shared a warm camaraderie as they distributed pamphlets on the subject, and even interacted with school children present at the drive.
