MUMBAI: Farah Khan is busy shooting for her next film ‘Happy New Year’ that has the hit pair of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Chennai Express’, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone along with Abhishek Bachchan, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani.
When asked how was her experience shooting for ‘Happy New Year’ she said, “Working on this film has been great fun and I really looking forward for the next schedule”.
Farah Khan had teamed up with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone for ‘Om Shanti Om’, that had created box office record and now post ‘Chennai Express’ there are a lot of expectations from ‘Happy Near Year’.
“I don’t do films to make records. Every film will make some record. It’s stupid to think records will not be broken,” said Farah when asked about the fate of ‘Happy New Year’.
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chennai Express’, directed by Rohit Shetty and released in August, is a record-breaking Box Office hit. Chennai Express’ has the finest commercial director, a great actress Deepika Padukone and last but not the least King Khan.
Deepika on the other hand has had a dream run this year (2013) with films like ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, ‘Chennai Express’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Ram Leela’ that’s going to hit the silver screen on 15 November, 2013.
Now will Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ break the box office record set by ‘Chennai Express’.
Well we have to just wait and watch.
