When Alia Bhatt Saved Shahid Kapoor At Shaandaar Trailer Launch!

The latest buzz in the media was on the launch ceremony of Dharma Productions next big thing Shaandaar. The star cast of the movie is quite amusing and deliciously tempting; we have Alia Bhatt staring opposite Shahid Kapoor. Shahid plays the love interest of Alia and is guarded by none other than his real life father Pankaj Kapur. The story looks interesting, funny and dramatic made on a big budget as guessed by the trailer.

The trailer has attracted media attention for quite a few reasons; it is Shahid’s first film after his marriage to Mira Rajput. Alia will be seen flaunting her newly worked up toned body in a flashy pink bikini and of course there are those innumberable seducing scenes between Shahid and Alia which is making fans go gaga over the film. The media is abuzz by the hot scenes involving on-screen kissing braved by Alia.

Since it was Shahid’s first meeting with media post marriage, it seems media came well prepared to ask Shahid questions. Film’s producer Karan Johar requested the media to keep the questions related to the event.

Finally, when Shahid was asked a question about the most shaandar gift he received after marriage, Alia interrupted almost immediately before Shahid could even think of replying. “One second..Shahid’s shaandaar shaadi is done and now we will only talk about the marriage in Shaandaar,” shouted Alia.

We have many reasons to be interested in this trailer launch because when asked by the media about Alia’s similarity to Kareena Kapoor, Shahid promptly said, “it’s an honor to be compared to her, but I see no such similarity both are originals in their work.” Karan Johar before starting the launch made it very clear that question related only to the films should be asked. We see Karan protecting his star’s personal life during his launch event. Shahid refused to answer any questions regarding his married life and kept numb on sensitive matters. We would have loved to see him express happiness regarding his new married life.

This event and the trailer sure turned out to be a great success. We will be eagerly waiting to see the film which will be releasing soon.
