[tps_footer]Yami Gautam who shot to fame with Vicky Donor shot for the March issue of The Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop’s Magazine. Yami who had no idea about what’s right and what’s wrong when it came to dressing before she stepped into Bollywood, stunning everyone with the way she has groomed herself.
“I remember wearing a Rocky S for my first award ceremony. The right dress, gives you the confidence and now thanks to all the photo shoots that I have been doing, I know what’s right and what works on me,” stated a stunning looking Yami.
For the cover of The Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop’s Magazine, Yami wore a Nikhil Thampi gold sari gown and looked absolutely breathtaking.
“While its great to wear a Calvin Klein or a Gucci, there is so much talent to choose from, as so many Indian designers are doing great work.” stated Yami Gautam, who loves to wear designs by Gaurav Gupta and Masaba Gupta, but then is open to other designers as well.
Recently Yami Gautam has joined a list of celebrities who are endorsing an initiative to donate food towards the welfare of the underprivileged.
The stars are campaigning for the initiative Food For The Soul, launched by Food Panda with the NGO Uday Foundation, where people can log on to the portal and make monetary donations that amounts to a food item like food grains, pulses, vegetable oil, biscuits and so on.
“Living in our sheltered and cocooned worlds, it is often easy to forget that we lead a life of The Food for Soul campaign which sensitises us towards the fact that there are many who are not even fortunate enough to get a basic square meal a day.” shared Yami.
When questioned if she would ever do an item number, Yami immediately said, “I intend not to do an item song ever. I find the term item songs bizarre. I do not want to comment on its presence and its popularity but I would rather avoid it.
Currently seen in Total Siyapaa opposite Ali Zafar, Yami is all set to shed her girl next door image with her next, Action Jackson opposite Ajay Devgn.
