The backdrop:  Rangoon is based on a backdrop of Second World War, which will give you a major feel of 40’s era.  Making a period film is surely not easy as it requires lots of research to bring out the authenticity in the movie. Well, going by the intense trailer and promos of Rangoon, it seems, director Vishal Bhardwaj has put his heart and soul in it. The backdrop of World War 2 has already raised the curiosity among the masses.
