The first much-awaited trailer of Sonakshi Sinha starrer Akira has been finally unveiled. In the trailer, Sonakshi Sinha is seen in a never before action avatar and it seems the actress is now a tough competitor for the other actors of B-town. Till now we always addressed Sonakshi Sinha as ‘Dabangg’ actress but from now she deserves to be known as ‘Akira’.
The actress is seen as a strong rebel in the trailer who moves from her hometown of Jodhpur to Mumbai for her education. During her journey of education and trying to escape from the healing past, she finds herself in the midst of a more dangerous situation, threat and also gets embroiled in a crime. Not losing the faith in herself, Akira fights back despite her family not being on her side. The action packed scenes and Sonakshi Sinha’s fierce personality in the trailer has raised a lot of expectations from the film. Isn’t she beating Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar in terms of stunts and serious punches?
Akira is an action drama film directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Fox Star Studios & A. R. Murugadoss. The film stars Sonakshi Sinha, Konkana Sen Sharma and Anurag Kashyap in the lead roles. The film is all set to release this year on September 2.
