Lagaan: Director Ashutosh Gowariker offered the role of ‘Bhuvan’ in Lagaan to Aamir Khan who initially rejected the offer. Later, the director went to SRK who was also not interested to be part of the film. But finally Aamir Khan managed to be part of the film and rest is history. The film remains Oscar nominated film in last couple of decades.
