[tps_footer]Aamir Khan is known to do normal things differently. Guess that gives him the ‘kick’ in life. He will never take the usual route to do things and makes sure that whatever he does stays on people’s mind forever.
Last night, the first look of his much awaited December film P. K.’s first poster was released. But we couldn’t stop but wonder if it was perfectly plan to overpower Happy New Year’s promotions.
Many might argue that we are seeing more than there is to it, but we couldn’t shrug off the feeling that the first poster out was not coincidental. Today, Shah Rukh Khan will announce Happy New Year’s association with Colors TV for the promotions and a night before, Aamir caught his fans unguarded. A poster of him nude with only a transistor covering his vanity was bound to make people sit up and take notice.
But we don’t think even if it was a planned move, Shah Rukh’s promotional blitzkrieg for Happy New Year will be affected. After all nobody promotes his film the way Khan does. He goes all out…and we don’t mean it subtly. He can go to irritating lengths to drill his films’ promos in people’s mind so that they get forced to watch it upon release. That’s clever marketing but only gets a bit too much at times. We just hope this ‘incident’ is merely a ‘coincidence’ but…[/tps_footer]
