Abortion And Rape: Chilling Revelations In Jiah Khan’s “Suicide Note”

A suicide note, reportedly written by Jiah Khan, has been made public by her mother Rabia Khan. It throws a light on the abuse she dealt with in her relationship and shows the suicide was not a result of her career woes.

MUMBAI: Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan has claimed to have found a suicide note left behind by Jiah Khan, a week after her suicide. The suicide note, made public by Rabia Khan, throws light on Jiah Khan’s reportedly abusive relationship with Bollywood actor Aditya Pancholi’s son Suraj Pancholi.

The suicide note was made public by Rabia Khan who claimed that Jiah Khan’s younger sister found it in a wallet-box when she was searching for some poems written by Jiah Khan to be read at her prayer meeting. She said that she was making it public so that everyone could know the truth behind her daughter’s tragedy.

The most shocking aspect was Jiah Khan’s revelation that she had to go through extreme sacrifices to please her boyfriend. Jiah Khan said that she was forced to abort her baby with him and that she was raped and tortured often, both physically and mentally. Jiah Khan was constantly scared that he would hurt her again.

The suicide note indicates that Jiah Khan felt “broken inside” and that she had “lost everything” because of her partner’s selfish ways. Jiah Khan wrote that she “had given her all to the relationship while all that her boyfriend wanted in his life were parties, his women and his selfish motives.” The love of her life is made out to be the devil in this failed story where Jiah Khan says that he never met her sister even once when she went out of her way to buy gifts for his sister.

Jiah Khan was also angry at him for destroying her Christmas and her birthday dinner when she had gone miles trying to make his birthday special.

“I am so much more than this.” This is the line with which Jiah Khan ends her note. We wish others around her could have realized this earlier, before she had decided to give her life away.
