After the horrendous Uri attacks and the ultimatum by MNS for the Pakistani actors to leave the country is known by all of us. The very first consequence of this was targeting the films which had Pakistani actors in it and unfortunately ADHM becoming the first target as a reason of Fawad Khan.
From hate comments to criticism the film has had it all for the presence of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in the movie. We recently saw a video of Karan Johar urging the audiences to understand how good the movie is and ignoring other factors to the movie as he wants to portray cinema.
While many actors are in favor of KJo veteran actress Renuka Shahane who has always had her own voice for such controversies recently broke her silence on this issue.She slammed the COEAI for their decision and stood with Karan Johar and firmly was sure about her decision and the releasing of the movie. According to Shahane, she is fine with banning of the Pakistani artists, but banning a film is totally unfair. Renuka took to Facebook and posted her views on the whole issue. Her Facebook post reads as:
It is good to see our film fraternity come and ahead and support the film which is a true mark of an artist. This isn’t the first time but time and again the unity between our film fraternity has left us all amazed and surprised.
