MUMBAI: They both have played lovebirds in their respective films. But the ‘Aashiqui 2’ boy and the ‘Ishaqzaade’ girl are set to romance on screen for Habib Faisal’s next with Yash Raj Films.
Bollywood always has surprised us with several unusual pairings. From Ranbir Kapoor- Konkona Sen Sharma, to Imran Khan – Kareena Kapoor these pairs have created several curiosities for their respective films. In spite of being an odd pair, their chemistry has worked wonders.
And the latest to join this unusual bandwagon is Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra. The two, rather extreme people are going to be seen in Habib Faisal’s next film, produced by Yash Raj Films.
Habib Faisal last directed ‘Ishaqzaade’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. This will be Parineeti’s second outing with the director. She has also been seen in other Yash Raj projects like ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’. Also, Parineeti Chopra will also be seen sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh in ‘Kill Dill’, which also is produced by Yash Raj Films.
As far as Aditya Roy Kapur, well the lad has been riding high on his latest flick, ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Aashiqui 2’ both setting the cash registers ringing. This is surely a big break for the actor who so far, leaving ‘Aashiqui 2’ has played second fiddle. This will be a major break for the talented actor.
So with the unusual pairing of Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra and Habib Faisal at the helm of affairs, we are surely aiming at fireworks.
